Friday 1/11/08: Bring one current event from a newspaper, magazine, or internet source about the state of Tennessee. It needs to have a geographical, political, or historical perspective to Tennessee. Due on 1/14/08
Monday 1/14/08: Color and diagram a map of Europe. Students will be given and asked to copy specific instructions on how the assignment should be completed. Map of Europe will be given to students. Due on 1/15/08.
Tuesday 1/15/08: Folder check. Students are required to keep all notes, bellwork, and grades in this folder.
Wednesday 1/23/08: Greece review questions. These questions can be found in the book, ch. 13 sec. 2, or in their notes. Due on 1/24/08.
Tuesday 1/29/08: Folder check. Students are required to keep all notes, bellwork, and grades in this folder. Due on 1/30/08.
Tuesday 2/5/08: Test review sheet check. After giving the students various things to take home and study, I have begun to notice numerous sheets laying around the school. This has prompted me to check to see if all the students have kept their study guided. Due on 2/6/08.
Friday 2/8/08: Extra credit (5 pts)- Create a report on Russia to present to the class. This will be similar to the European country project. Due 2/11/08.
Tuesday 2/12/08: Workbook- page 33-34 Russia: Russia after the Soviet Collapse. Due 1/13/08.
Tuesday 2/19/08: Folder Check- I will check their folder for the previous weeks SPI’s, Agenda, HMW, Bellwork, Bellwork answer, date, and S. Europe test.
Wednesday 2/20/08: Pop Quiz over Europe! Students were told of quiz a week in advance.
Monday 2/25/08: Bring pictures for Individual timelines! No Grade.
Friday 2/29/08: Last day to bring supplies, for class, for extra credit!
